Diving
Eastbourne's
Sovereign Harbour is now one of the largest marina developments in the UK. It's growth over the
last few years has been nothing but meteoric.
 It now provides
divers with access to some of the finest diving on the south coast of England.
Between Beachy Head and Dungeness, there are
some three hundred wrecks of all shapes and sizes, including liners, merchant ships,
sailing schooners, naval warships and submarines.
Most of these are in very accessible depths and
some are rarely dived.
Probably one of the nicest things about diving
near Eastbourne is that most of your diving is between 20-40 metres. For the more experienced diver, there are some wrecks in the 40-55 metre range and for the
very experienced Tri-mix diver only, up to 70 metres.
A large number of these wrecks are within a
radius of 25 miles only.
We also have a few shoal dives.
Shoal Dives:
Royal Sovereign Shoals, Long Shoals, Horse
Willingdon & Elphick Tree.
Inshore wrecks in much shallower water include:
HMS Ariadne, Duchess, Rio Parana, P&O Liner Oceana, The 1906, Lalen Mendi, Grabwell, Gold Coin, Swale,
Broderick.

R.M.S Alaunia, SY Argonaut, Branksome Chine, Donna Isabela, Lisbon, Glenartney,
Seven Seas, Adventurine, Mount Stewart, Gun Wreck,
Rydall Hall, Blanefield, Ella Sayer, Hoheweg,
Pottery Wreck, Braunton, Mira, Nyon.
